Michael L. Gross, M.D.- Knees and Shoulders
Dr. Michael L. Gross obtained his bachelor's degree in Biomedical Communications at Cornell University, Ithaca New York. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1983. Dr. Gross completed an internship in general surgery and Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York.
Dr. Gross went on to complete advanced fellowship training in Sports Medicine at UCLA Medical Center, where he served on the medical staff of the UCLA Bruins.
Dr. Gross is board certified in orthopedic surgery and hold a subspecialty certificate in sports medicine. Both certifications were granted by The American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Gross has published numerous articles relating to knee, hip, shoulder, spine and ankle injuries. He has served as a team physician for local high schools and colleges. He is currently the team physician for athletic teams at Stevens Institute of Technology.
Dr. Gross currently maintains privileges at Hackensack University Medical Center, where he is the Chief of the Division of Sports Medicine and the Orthopedic Director of The Sports Medicine Institute. He also has privileges at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood and Hudson Crossing Surgical Center in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

Dr. Gross currently writes a sports medicine column for BC Magazine and conducts a web forum for www.medhelp.org in orthopedic sports medicine.
